AceFortis is an independent cybersecurity research publication. We write practical, technically accurate guides for people who break things for a living, people who defend them, and people who are just starting out in security.

What we cover

  • Penetration Testing — methodology, Active Directory attacks, privilege escalation and real-world tradecraft.
  • CVE & Vulnerabilities — breakdowns of actively exploited flaws: what broke, who is affected, and how to detect and fix it.
  • Hacking Tutorials — hands-on walkthroughs for labs and authorised testing.
  • Tools & Reviews — honest comparisons of the tools we actually use.
  • Certifications — OSCP, CRTO, PNPT and other career paths, with realistic advice.
  • CTF — Capture The Flag guides and writeups.

How we write

Every technical article is checked against primary sources — vendor advisories, CISA alerts, NVD entries and original research — and we link to them so you can verify the details yourself. When an article is updated, we change it in place rather than publishing a duplicate.

Responsible use

Offensive techniques on this site are published for education and for authorised security testing only. Only test systems you own or have written permission to test.
